This training session is intended for teachers teaching in English and will present various techniques and strategies for improving their presentation skills in terms of form and content.
The workshop is aimed at both teachers who have experience of teaching in English and at teachers who plan to teach their courses in English in the future.
Presenting is a complex task and one that will determine the success of your lecture. Students will face less of a challenge if the presenter pays attention to intonation, pronunciation, pace and obviously, to the structure of the presentation itself. This workshop will provide practical tips on how you can help your students understand better and how to get their full attention, and facilitate their note-taking.
Visées : Participants will gain insights into:
* Preparing an efficient presentation thanks to solid foundations
* Connecting and adapting to the audience: powerful techniques to get the audience’s attention, learning styles and multiple intelligences
* Tips for improving intonation, pace and pronunciation when speaking.
* Tips for teaching through the medium of a foreign language.
